Cardale are a UK based garage door installer and manufacturer with more than 50 years experience in the industry. Cardale is an innovative company that has introduced many new concepts over the years including the the ‘panel door’ from which the majority of today’s garage door designs are derived. Cardale was first to use ABS in the manufacturing of garage doors, ABS looks similar to UPVc and the ABS range remains unique to this day. Cardale designed the Bedford up and over door, the first to look like a traditional side hinged garage door. The garage door openers that Cardale use are made by third parties and often branded Cardale. The company has recently had financial problems and has been in receivership on two occasions, however it still survives and is still trading. Steeline doors are based near Hull and are the roll up garage door division of Cardale.
